ALTENSTEIG CHURCH

January 21st, 2009 | 0 Comments

We visited a church in Altensteig on 18 January, which is connected with several people from ETS. Pastor Klaus-Peter Fosshag leads this dynamic church. One of our ETS students, Oliver Müller, translated for me as I preached. It was good to fellowship with this great church, and see their heart for their area.

WEEKEND ON THE SWISS BORDER

January 12th, 2009 | 0 Comments

This past weekend we traveled with one of our students, Nelli Walter, to her church in Lauchringen, which is just 5 KM from the Swiss border. Nelli’s parents, Eduard & Anna Walter, pastor the church and we had a very enjoyable visit with them on Saturday and Sunday, 13-14 January, 2009. Nelli leads the worship team, comprised of her three siblings with her, and Carol joined in playing electric guitar. I preached and Nelli translated. The previous Sunday I preached at the Kniebis church, but we enjoyed getting to know the Walter family this past weekend.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009

January 2nd, 2009 | 0 Comments

We wish all our supporters and friends a wonderful 2009. We spent New year’s Eve at the Winterfest. The youth had an enjoyable ministry event with their talents used for God. A worship service followed into the new year, and it all wrapped up about 2:30 AM. New Year’s Day was the final day of the youth conference and Sabastian Schmidgall, an ETS student, preached under God’s anointing. Another student, Tabea Am Ende, had preached well also during the week. Our students cleaned, served food, decorated, prayed in the altars, translated, and did many other ministries. I really was proud of each of them.
