World Missions Orientation -

Cleveland, TN

Preparing for Germany

July 21st, 2007 | 0 Comments

We are scheduled to depart for Germany on September 9. Until then, we have preparations to make for leaving. This will include attending a missions orientation at headquarters, and packing up a shipment. Almost daily Rodney is working at the Lee University library preparing lecture notes for the three courses he will teach this Fall: Christian Ethics, Hermeneutics (Principles for interpreting Scripture), and a New Testament exegesis course in the Pastoral Epistles ( I & II Timothy & Titus). Exegesis courses carefully examine the meaning of the Greek text to the original hearers. We have to understand what the text meant for them first, before we can fully understand what it means for us today.
