Carol’s Home TownFairly near to Carol’s birthplace of Salem, we worshipped at the Praise Cathedral Church of God in Seymour, Indiana, on the evening of April 22. Pastor G. L. and Shirley Williams attended Lee College when Rodney was there as a simg_0068.jpgtudent in the mid-1970′s. It was good to see them and have their church partner with us in the Great Commission.

Where would Superman go to church?

April 16th, 2007 | 2 Comments

img_0052.jpgThe Powerhouse Church of God in Metropolis, Illinois, is where Superman would go to church. That’s also where we were on April 15. The people were very friendly and they have a genuine desire for prayer that will lead to revival. Pastor Gaylon Stewart and the people welcomed us as the first Church of God missionary to visit them, and they have partnered with us as their missionary. Please check our photo page for pictures from this visit.

Easter Weekend – April 8, 2007

April 11th, 2007 | 5 Comments

Christian Greetings. The Lord is Risen! We had a wonderful weekend in Indiana for Easter. During the morning service we were at the Shelburn Church of God with Pastor Jerry Adams. The church was packed with an attendance over 200. Pastor Adams had designated it as Friend Day and many visitors were there to worship God. He told them that he had two “Friends” there from Tennessee. The worship team and choir did a great job leading us in worship. We were greeted very warmly by all the people, and thank them for their prayers and financial support. It was the first time we were ever invited to have a missions service on Easter morning, and we appreciated the opportunity very much.

In the evening service we were in the South Linton Church of God with Pastor Russell Black. We enjoyed being with them as well. He is 82-years-old but still going strong for Jesus. That inspired us to keep going ourselves. We appreciate men and women who have given so much of their lives for the cause of Christ. We are grateful for their prayer and financial support.
